There is a specific page for kids, but the entire web site is friendly for kids of all ages! Family projects are recommended.

"The Serenade Spring project party was such a success for me!  I had a fabulous and educational time learning how to build my own compost bin with worm farm.  I have had it now for about 3+ years and this has been an integral part of my gardening experience.  My family and I have been able to fully 'recycle' our organic waste and channel that a fabulous vegetable garden.  I think all of the neighborhood worms have been moving into my 'resort'!  Thanks again for providing such an educational forum for my friends and I in Frederick, Maryland!" - Sonya Goldstein

Project Parties' Mission

Serenade's intention through Project Parties commencing in all four seasons, is to raise awareness of the importance of nature connection through fun and collective efforts.  Through preparation and the effort of having fun, you can constructively effect restoration of the web of life.  Serenade’s hope is that through repetition of activities you will reweave the tapestry of nature connection and make new traditions for your family that will continue for generations to come.

Serenade is in the process of putting together a fund to benefit purchasing seeds & gardening/farming equipment for personal and economic opportunities, aiding what is not available at tool lending libraries; therefore breaking a large part of the cycle of poverty.  Donations offered will also cover Serenade's work, physical place for resource efficiency and operating costs for this web site.
